America has a problem on garbage, almost double the load produced in 1960 and 50% more than Europe. An average american produces about 4lbs of waste per day, and the idea of Gregg Segal, a photographer from California, USA begins, his aims is to show garbage problem through powerful imagery, photographing his neighbors and friends lying in their one week load of waste. He called this project as “7 Days of Garbage”. He will continue to work on this in a series to guide people, recognize and take a little steps to lessen the unnecessary amount of trash they produce.
